Far East Movement to perform with Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae for the first time on one stage


Far East Movement and the Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae couple will finally be able to perform together on one stage!

The three will be joining the ‘2012 World Electronica Carnival‘ on August 10th through the 12th and performing for the first time on one stage. Jungle Entertainment revealed, “We received an offer from Far East Movement to collaborate at the concert so we’re trying to get the schedules balanced out. We’re not going to overdo it but for now, we’re all positive that it’ll work out.”

Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae have history with Far East Movement by featuring for the group’s “Live My Life” remix version, which was a widespread hit with Koreans. Far East Movement had expressed their gratitude for the couple’s featuring through Twitter.

Other artists performing at the concert will include Duck Sauce‘s Armand van Helden, Yolanda Be Cool, Garion, Double K, and 45RPM.

Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae join American hip hop album


Husband and wife Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae recently worked with famous American hip hop musicians.

The couple joined a compilation album of Chops, a member of famous American hip hop group Mountain Brothers. The group was formed in 1994 and created Asian American hip hop ground in the United States.

On July 18, a spokesperson for Tiger JK said, “The couple worked with international hip hop musicians, including, Rakim and Far East Movement. They recently joined a new album of hip hop producer Chops.”

Tiger JK previously tweeted about the news, “Luckily, Mi Rae and I worked with Mountain Brothers’ Chops for his new album.”

As a result, Tiger JK and Yoon are keeping busy with international musicians.

The couple participated singing the remix version of the title song “Dirty Base” from American hip hop group Far East Movement’s new album. Pop star Justin Bieber was also featured in the song.

The remix version of R & B is very popular in the pop market of the United States. Unique rearrangement and featuring make the song as popular as the original song.

Yoon is currently preparing her new album, which is produced by Tiger JK.
